Job Description:
Required skills:
9+ years of AS400 (CL, RPG with ILE environment, SQLRPGLE, RPG400/RPGLE/SQL/DB2400) development experience on enterprise level applications (experience with Retail Domain applications is a plus).
Expertise with ILE Concepts, service programs, commitment control, journaling, interactive & batch debugging.
Hands on working AS400 involved communicating with Web Services.
Excellent knowledge of ways of working in Agile/Jira & Retail (WMS) domain
Prior experience leading development team is must.
Must have experience working in onshore/offshore delivery model.
Additional JD:
Ability to develop functional requirements and technical design documents
Review code based on technical specifications.
Should be able to independently develop/analyze the program execute units and provide solutions.
Ability to provide effort estimations and experience working in a team environment within an agile development process.
Ability to follow coding and development standards and produce structured code and documentation.
Ability to relate well with business users and work with cross functional teams.
Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment against tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-starter that will take ownership of assignments and drive to completion with minimal supervision. Good oral and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
Interest in new technologies and willingness to learn.
(1.) Co-ordination with On-Site Engineers and attending customer calls
(2.) Raising risks, issues and escalation to senior management and customer
(3.) To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents
(4.) To create all quality documents, collect metrics data and conducting Audits. To perform Value creation and KM activities.
(5.) To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
