Location – 100% Remote

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
• 7+ years in software development
• 5+ years of experience working with the following:
o Informatica Application Development including designing Workflows, Mappings and Sessions.
o Informatica concepts of Push down Optimization and Parallelization.
o Informatica Workflow Monitor and Scheduler
o Physical and Logical Data Modeling & ER Diagrams
o Performance tuning and fixing the slow running ETL Jobs.
o Writing Queries in T-SQL.
o UNIX shell scripting.
o Job scheduling tools like TWS, Autosys or Control M.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience in the financial investment industry with a high degree of proficiency developing software applications using these skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and communications skills are required
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• MS Office and MS Project
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodology
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Strong knowledge of SQL complex queries experience, hands on experience in shell scripting language Unix, Python 3.10 and Java.
Work with the project team to translate application requirements and use cases into functional applications, specifications and workflow documentation while constructing code in compliance with specifications
• Understanding of Data warehouse ETL concepts
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and testable Informatica code
• Design data-intensive back-end transactional and analytical data warehouse systems in Informatica.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Collaborate with the development team to construct integrated solutions
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications using specified development environments, programming languages and tools
• Create and execute unit software test cases and interact with product quality assurance to resolve bugs, clarify functionality, and resolve software usability issues
• Collaborate with the development team to construct integrated solutions
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Analyze databases, and optimize database queries
• Perform other related duties as required
