Role: BUSINESS ANALYST with MDM Location- Plano, TX Contract Job Description: - Business Analyst with 10+ Years of experience in Master Data Management
- Drive alignment on data definitions, policies, governance, and enforcement of enterprise business rules for master data.
- Follow scrum ceremonies – Roadmap, Sprint Planning, Risk and Impediment Management, Review sessions. Daily Scrums as needed.
- Collaborate with the scrum team to translate business requirements into product roadmap, EPICs, and sprint backlog.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Meta Data and Data Quality management and as an enterprise advocate for Enterprise Data Management standards and policies
- Analyze and manage Data Management scorecards for various business units that measure efficacy of business definitions, data lineage (business and metadata), data taxonomies, ontology and data quality rule definitions in a clearly defined, and discoverable manner.
- Advocate for the compliance of business standards and procedures, as well as continuously improve quality, reporting, and processes that includes input, change functions, tagging of SOX controls/compliance policies, PII management, auditing, and data cleansing.
- Be accountable for design, development, and delivery of Metadata best practices for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
- Be accountable for development and delivery of Data Profile and Data Quality best practices for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
- Support and train Enterprise Data Stewards to use standard data management tools within the guidelines of governance policies and standards. Support Data Stewards in data management efforts that directly contribute towards major enterprise initiatives.
- Actively develop and lead data literacy campaigns for the enterprise.
- Implement data standards, processes, controls, and procedures to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable in collaboration with Data Stewards.
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
- Create and manage metadata and data quality metrics for each business unit. Coach various business units towards improving data maturity
