Qualifications:
This position is for a Senior IT Network Specialist – responsible for supporting project implementation, operations, and maintenance of the client's enterprise Audio/Visual and Voice infrastructure within the Network Solutions Team. The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Audio/Visual with a strong troubleshooting background. Candidates must be self-motivated and passionate about making A/V solutions easy-to-use.
The successful candidate must also effectively manage communications with vendors/service providers, clients, and peers. Maintain familiarity with currently implemented and new technology, including new versions of software/firmware, implementation of upgrades, and changes to procedures. Provide clear communication and documentation of events, processes and procedures, and configuration details. The work location for the successful candidate is negotiable within the PG&E service territory and is contingent on space availability.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Own A/V projects and execute to completion
• Conduct trainings on equipment and spaces to users and support personnel
• Ensuring compliance with applicable security standards and requirements
• System monitoring to maintain availability
• Providing after-hours support for infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance
• Evaluates new products and equipment and keeps abreast of new products and/or equipment available in the market.
• Perform testing and evaluations of new technologies in a lab environment
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting A/V Technology
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT – Information Technology operations
• Minimum 3 years of A/V system design and builds experience.
Desired:
• Experience and knowledge around collaboration spaces, conference room technology, and video platforms
• Familiar with Crestron, XiO, RGB, Jupiter
• Ability to multitask, learn quickly, self- motivate, and be a team player
• Audio DSP programming experience (QSC, Biamp)
• Experience with configuration and deployment of MS Teams rooms
• Ability to program, change and troubleshoot (Crestron)
• Experience with MS Teams, Digital signage, Cisco Video Conferencing Solutions
