Role: Agile Coach Location: Austin, TX (Remote till Covid) Contract JD: Required Qualifications:
• 7-12 years of Agile work experience in a technical (CS, CE, CIT) domain and a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. MS, ME) in a Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar STEM field of study.
• 5-6 years of Agile Coaching and/or Implementation experience applied in one or more of the following areas:
o Software Engineering/Development
o CIT Hardware/Infrastructure Management
o CIT Technical Program/Project Management
• Certification in any one or more of the following Scaled Agile Framework 4.5 or higher:
o Certified SAFe Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master
o Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer
o Certified SAFe Program Consultant
o Certified SAFe Architect
o Certified SAFe Practitioner
• Expert using Atlassian’s Jira and ideally Jira Align
• Roles requires someone expert and familiar with methodologies and tools and has the know how and confidence to coach, train and shadow others.
• Proficiency in Agile, SAFe and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) as well as project management and Agile tools such as: Jira, Jira Align, Rally, MS Project, Clarity PPM, SharePoint, and Wiki
• Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions
• Ability to multitask and work confidently and independently with limited supervision
• Excellent time management, communication (written & verbal), collaboration and organization skills
