Job Description::
Experience: 8 to 10 years
- Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases especially Oracle
- Strong hold on PL/SQL queries and data warehousing background.
- Up to date with the latest releases of Oracle and new features available
- Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements.
Required Skills Technical Skills: PL/SQL Oracle
Nice to have skills:
Technical Skills - DB scripting
Domain Skills - Technology Databases
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
- Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
- Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitHub.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with no or limited guidance grasp the concepts quickly and develop in an agile mode with experience in working with agile project management tool
- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
- Ensure performance security and availability of databases
- Prepare documentations and specifications
- Handle common database procedures such as upgrade backup recovery migration etc.
- Profile server resource usage and optimize and tweak as necessary
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
