Position: Workday Consultant Location: SFO,CA (Remote till COVID) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: The Enterprise Planning Modeler will play a key and leading role to provide solutions that ensure tie-ins of operational & corporate plans with alignment of data lineage and governance. Partnering with multi-functional groups including FP&A, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Operations to identify business needs, understand and detail existing forecast models and data requirements to architect effective solution designs and model builds. Liaising between the Workday planning user community and product teams to influence and shape the product roadmap, formalize standard methodologies in model building, and provide coaching/training. Working with data governance, platform support and integration teams is a key function of this role. Responsibilities: Platform management –User administration and data access, SSO integration, incident management, and instance provisioning. Adhere to processes for model governance, deliver training and support to users on best practices and standards for model design, development, versioning, performance tuning and integration with other models. Own and manage inter-model connectivity and data mappings, support data modeling, shared data sources. Ensure consistent and accurate data mapping and validity without compromising Compliance, Security and Privacy. Govern and manage enterprise wide KPI’s while maintaining the holistic, E2E data architecture. Handle data integration schedules including inter-model integrations through data provisioning and integration teams. Run production deployment and releases through established release management processes. Act as liaison between planners and the product team for issues and concerns related to product features and best practices. About You BS/MS in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Business Planning, or other applicable majors - or relevant experience (Planning experience desired) Demonstrated ability in related fields with Workday Adaptive Planning and/or other leading Cloud based SaaS EPM Implementations (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle EPM software, etc.) Experience in leading multiple implementations in analysis, design, development, implementation of planning tools. Solid understanding in data modeling concepts, star schema, multiple dimensional modeling. Experience with governance functions to support and enable self service planning tools across large enterprises. Experience in performance tuning of planning models with complex dimensions. Solid understanding of SDLC, PDLC, and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus. Understanding of data governance, analytics principles and reporting tools is desired. Good interpersonal and organizational skills to analyze complex business challenges, respond independently, and communicate across all levels of the organization Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience in solving problems and documenting issues, gaps, and resolutions Experience in implementing, administering, and integrating SaaS software (i.e., Salesforce, Workday), preferably on Adaptive planning platform desired Workday Adaptive Planning certification is desired Thanks & Regards, Sonali Sharma Contact No: +1 469-425-3802 E-mail: sonali@vitsus.com
