Job Description
We need a senior (Client wants 10-12+ years) Java Developer Java, Spring Boot/Microservices, Angular and preferably a SME in Insurance. The candidate can work remote for 6-9 months but will eventually need to be on-site in Pittsburg if and when they go back to business as usual in the future due to Covid. Please send me candidates even if they are over the rate. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME CANDIDATES WITH UNDER 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. I CAN'T SUBMIT THEM. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH INSURANCE.

- Must have experience in conceptualize, design and implement Cloud applications using microservices architecture and API gateway for large platform
- Must have experience in Insurance products onboarding workflow design for Life, Annuity, GI/SI, Term etc.
- Must have experience in managing guiding global teams on the technical design and implementation of Cloud applications (both AWS and Azure) using cloud native technology stack.
- Should have strong knowledge in API strategy, governance and developing API platforms ground up
- Partner with cross functional teams and line of business stakeholders in planning and execution of delivery
- Lead the end to end solution design and architecture for key company initiatives
- Partner with Product Owners, the infrastructure organization, and vendors to define road-map, tool/product selection, and provide solution design.
- Extensive Architecture experience, solution architecture/documenting software architectures.
- Deep and rapidly growing experience with cloud architectures: security, availability, microservices, consumption based billing, designs for scalability
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, tools and the intersection with cloud architecture
- Design for both functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, privacy, etc.
- Review, advise, and provide feedback on architectures produced within and outside the team
- Must have experience in Docker and containerize Microservices APIs
- Must have experience in implementing Azure with AKS and other Azure serverless services
- Must have experience in implementing security using OAuth or JWE token with Authorizer
- Must have hands on experience in developing components, framework and lead the teams in new technology initiatives
