Atrilogy Solutions Group’s direct client is searching for a Java Developer to join their team. Looking for Back-end Exp!

Preferred SKILLS:

Spring MVC (or basic understanding of MVC Pattern and Mechanics of HTTP requests)
RDBMS (MSSQL Server OR Oracle OR MySQL)
GIT (understanding)
No CI/CD tooling experience is needed
API service development. Both new and modification/maintenance.
On-call rotation is not expected.

Job Description:

Strong understanding of object oriented programming and scalable software design.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Java/Web (one or both of the following areas of specialization):

Back-end Developer:

Advanced experience with Java and Spring
Advanced understanding of RESTful design
Advanced experience with SQL Queries and SQL Server Stored Procedures
Experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS (PREFERRED ONLY)
Experience with Junit preferred

Job Summary:

Leverage in-depth technical knowledge and programming skills to develop, implement and maintain business solutions. As a lead technical position, this role is a key voice in setting direction and providing guidance on how to best leverage technology to achieve business outcomes. Participate as a member of a fast-paced production support team, provides superior customer support in incident resolution and collaborates cross-functionally to determine feasibility of design, ensure code quality and deliver releases for enhancement projects. and incident management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as a subject matter expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production issues.
Perform complex programming assignments requiring an expert understanding of established programming standards, methods and best practices.
Facilitate, acquire and interpret business requirements, create functional specifications and determines the most efficient/appropriate technologies.
Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build business solutions utilizing multiple technologies.
Contribute to, review and approve technical design of software solutions.
Provide technical and best practice consulting to management, business partners and team members.
Guide and collaborate with engineers and architects in continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct research into new technologies, development practices and frameworks.
Mentor, coach and train application developers.
Guide developers in implementing solutions, resolving problems and performing code reviews.
Contribute to and follow development best practices such as version control, unit testing, continuous integration, performance and security testing, and appropriate documentation.
Ensure quality and maintain performance of deployed solutions.
Contribute, evolve and support Agile Scrum software development processes.
Assist with other projects as needed to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Requires five (5) years related experience.
Strong understanding of object oriented programming and scalable software design.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with CI/CD tooling, such as GitLab and/or Jenkins.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong technical aptitude, fast learner and effective problem solver.
Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Great team player with positive attitude.
