Title: QA Automated Test Engineer/ Quality Assurance Automation Tester
Location- North Quincy, MA 02171
Duration: 12 Month
Hours / Shift: Monday –Friday 9:00 to 5:00 40 hour work week
DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The QA Automation tester automates manual test cases used for system and regression testing of applications. Additionally, the QA Automation tester executes and updates existing, pre-scripted regression test cases both automated and manual. Develop/Maintain Performance test scripts and analyzes the results. The QA automation tester collects, analyzes, tracks and report metrics of deliverables as per direction of the QA Automation manager. The QA automation tester works on multiple, simultaneous deliverables meeting deadlines without reduction in quality.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT HIRE
Qualified candidate will have BS in Computer Science/equivalent (or equivalent work experience) and the following skills:
7 years of overall Quality Assurance experience in Functional, Automation, API and Performance Testing.
4+ years of strong experience in Test Automation – UI/Web Services.
Experience working with tools/technologies like Selenium (with Java/ JavaScript), Cucumber, TypeScript, Maven, Junit, TFS etc.,
Experience interacting with dynamic objects built on Salesforce Platform.
Expertise in designing Test Automation Frameworks.
Exposure to Codeceptjs and Cypress frameworks.
Performance Testing experience in designing scenarios, developing performance test scripts, executing test scripts, and providing performance test analysis.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum Environment.
Demonstrated experience in Test Strategy development, Test Planning, Test Designing and Execution.
Strong communication, analytical, documenting, reporting Skills.
Well-versed in all testing methodologies, such as white vs. black box test work and system vs. functional.
Ability to apply technical knowledge, judgement skills and critical thinking to identify and implement work simplification methods.
A solid understanding of Quality Assurance as part of the development process.
Dedication to developing routine tests and coordinating testing efforts.
Strong knowledge of:
Behavior Driven Development
Source Control Systems
SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle
Jerkin
Soap UI or similar tools
Jenkins & Parallel executions
Shell scripting
QUALIFICATIONS ACQUIRED ON JOB
· Knowledge of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.
· Knowledge of the organizational structure and functions of the assigned agency.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in tracking issues and documenting efforts for remediation of errors.
· A solid understanding of Quality Assurance as part of the development process.
· Dedication to developing routine tests and coordinating testing efforts.
· Four years of Java/JavaScript programming experience.
· Detail oriented and a problem solver.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Based on assignment, possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator's License may be required.
