Project Manager
We are looking to hire an organized project manager to support execution of small to medium cross-functional initiatives across the organization. This individual will be responsible for working closely with the project team to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include defining a project plan, facilitating project meetings, preparing status reports, and executing effective project communication to key stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Manage scope, roadmap, dependencies, and timelines within cross-functional projects with direction and collaboration from internal stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to leadership and project teams on status, risks, and accomplishments, project level performance reporting.
Project level risk identification, mitigation, and escalation.
Facilitate and schedule cross-functional meetings, working sessions, or events to drive project completion.
Enable project level decisions by engaging cross-functional leaders, conduct tracking and communication of those decisions to the broader project team.
Facilitate resource planning and dependency management to ensure timely execution against project tasks of cross-functional project team.
Build and execute project communication plans, driving transparent and effective communication through the entire lifecycle of the project.
Ensure partner engagement and approval by establishing clear project-specific approval process and cadenced demos and updates (as applicable).
Partner with stakeholders on change management and adoption of improved processes, conducting postmortems during various stages of the project(s) as appropriate.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience in a project management function.
Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills, experience in facilitating and running meetings.
Experience running technical projects involving Engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong project management, organization and partner management skills.
Relentlessly focused on incremental delivery, which is a staple of CarGurus culture.
