Role: Product Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Contract
Essential Functions of the Job:
· Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
· Develop and manage project plans for product development and solutions
· Engage with multiple stakeholder groups to understand the demand, establishing road map and key milestones.
· Partner extensively with engineering teams and any other internal team involved, to deliver product roadmap and drive feature implementation.
Good understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ELT/ETL
• Good understanding of Azure Data platform (Azure ADF, Synapse, Databricks, PySpark, Azure Functions etc.)
• Understanding for modern data management architectures (Data Fabric, Data Mesh etc.)
· Translate product vision and roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and user acceptance test criteria
· In-depth knowledge of Data Governance and Management concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)
· Expectation management of various stakeholders/client groups.
· Manage and execute large external data projects, recommend courses of action and manage relationships for positive progress, respond to complex problems and prescribe solutions
· Align activities to data governance and data management standards/methods
· Build consensus among internal clients/customers and across key partner/stakeholder on product vision and various elements.
· Build strong relationships with various internal EY teams, leadership, and business stakeholders
· Collaborate and share best practices across the team and serve as a role model for leading change, innovation, and transformation
· Partner with senior leadership to develop operational strategies, define goals with direct responsibility for coordinating the execution of initiatives, processes and training
· Provide functional and operational support/update to meet leadership’s strategic goals on key products
· Partner with our customers (other internal EY teams), to better understand their problems/challenges and work together to deliver required solutions
· Communicate issues and status reports to leadership and/or stakeholders; works to establish consensus and resolve issues
