Job Description for the same is written below     Role:-Desktop Engineer Location:- Bala Cynwyd (PA/CT/DE/NJ/NY) Duration:-1 Year + Extension   Job Description – Design, build, and support the end user computing environment for all group companies. This includes hardware and software selection, deployment strategies, system imaging, and ongoing management with both on premise and cloud based tools for physical and virtual client systems.   Key Responsibilities: Support the imaging process for physical systems, and help develop improvements to these processes. Work closely with the development teams to build, test and smoothly deploy software solutions to end users with minimal impact and downtime. Manage systems using MECM and Intune for tracking deployments and overall system health. Use these tools to delivery security solutions for encryption and threat protection. Execute the existing monthly Microsoft patching schedule, addressing any systems requiring remediation and reporting results in a timely manner. Collaborate with the Service Desk and Deskside Support teams to handle escalated support tickets in a timely fashion. Work to share knowledge to help these teams resolve future cases sooner to help improve with a first contact resolution. Work with the security teams to quickly remediate software vulnerabilities and maintain a secure environment.   Skills and Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in IT   Experience with the following tools and technologies: MECM design, configuration, and maintenance MECM imaging, software packaging and deployment, and client configuration Client system provisioning strategies (MECM, MDT, AutoPilot) Intune configuration and management, including co-management configuration with MECM Azure Active Directory and hybrid AD Joined devices Mobile device and Windows 10 management with Intune VMware Active Directory Citrix configuration and management PowerShell and command line scripting Problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a complex environment, with the ability to analyze a situation and make recommendations on the best way to proceed. Thorough working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, OS setup and configuration. Time management and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
