Job Title: IT - Oracle APPS DBA
Minimum Years of experience: 8-10 years
Contract duration: 6+ Months
Must-Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only):
1. Cloning and patching experience in EBS R12.1 & R12.2 including database.
2. Experience in End to End Database Migration from OnPrem to Cloud Infrastructure including
Virtual Network Design, routing rules, security groups, Instance creation, and
database deployment.
3. Good Conceptual knowledge of Oracle RDBMS internals, Backup & Recovery using RMAN,
performance tuning, the logical and physical design of the database.
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only):
1. Strong experience working as an Oracle Applications DBA in 12. x versions.
2. Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Detailed Job Description:
• Cloning and patching experience in EBS R12.1 & R12.2 including database.
• Experience in End to End Database Migration from On-Prem to Cloud Infrastructure including
Virtual Network Design, routing rules, security groups, Instance creation, and
database deployment.
• Good Conceptual knowledge of Oracle RDBMS internals, Backup & Recovery using RMAN,
performance tuning, the logical and physical design of the database.
• Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and administering different versions of Oracle
Database.
• Strong experience working as an Oracle Applications DBA in 12. x versions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Troubleshooting memory-related errors with Oracle 12c and Patching with RAC and Non-RAC.
• Provide support for Oracle database environments that include problem identification,
reporting, tracking, analysis, and resolution. Strong shell scripting knowledge. Good
knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Experience in Oracle EBS upgrade from 11i to Release 12.2 environments on various platforms.
• At least 1 or 2 upgrade/migration exp. of E-Business suite environments ( On-prem /OCI)
