The client is looking for CCIE Routing & Switching and or CCIE Service Provider certification
Expert level experience in BGP & MPLS
10+ yrs experience ( Need very senior level resource)
Architect level experience is required
Candidates worked in Juniper, Cisco , Nokia etc
Candidates who worked for service providers like AT&T, Verizon etc
Proficient in switching/routing technologies - BGP, MPLS, L2VPN,L3VPN,VxLAN, STP, RSTP, segment routing etc.
Client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, prototype, configure, evaluate and administer their network topology.
Responsibilities:
Designing and supporting the new network platforms or services in data center environments.
The candidate must possess a strong background in networking fundamentals (layers 1-3) and successfully support mission-critical business systems through the design, deployment and maintenance of local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure technologies.
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
Skills:
Highly proficient and hands on experience in the following networking technologies
IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, L2 switching, VxLAN.
• Experience with PTPv2 a plus
• Linux system administration skills
• Knowledge of SDN/NFV concepts
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers and switches.
