Job Description
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of [1] Programmer/Developer Analyst 3 hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Programmer/Developer Analyst 3 and the specifications outlined in this document. The workers responsibilities and skills must include: Creating and using RESTful APIs for enterprist applications (JSON, REST); using Selenium for test automation; substantial use of Postgres or SQL Server; developing in a fast-paced environment with short production timelines; writing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability; and creating working prototypes.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required) Minimum (Required): insert specific minimum skills for this Contract Position)
Years Skills/Experience
6 Progressive proficiency in Python (understanding of math libraries is preferred)
6 Skilled with query languages (SQL,PL/SQL)
6 Proficient in business requirement analysis and analytical skills
6 Experienced with third party Forms builder
6 Experienced integrating Forms with backend systems/APIs
6 Proficient with .Net development
6 Skilled in developing requirements traceability matrices
6 Good hands on knowledge of Excel
6 Well versed in the latest trends in cloud computing, distributed systems, web technologies and UI/UX standards
6 Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management Lifecycle.
6 Review documentation, such as Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), System Design Description (SDD) and release notes
6 Experience using JIRA or ALM for managing project/sprint tasks.
