Role: Solution Manager/BASIS

location: East Rutherford, NJ

JOB DESCRIPTION

"Onsite 4 days a week required;

# Required Skills (3 at most):

• Proactively look to find, position and apply new technology / solutions in SAP to take early mover advantage in the market

• Work with solutions teams to support product development activities

• Provide client's business value by applying technology enabled solutions to address client's business objectives, • Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)

• Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products. Apply patches to databases used for SAP applications.

• Strong knowledge of environment either consist of - Linux, Unix, Wintel servers with databases Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server etc

• Strong knowledge of HANA database , Solution Manager Configuration (Manage System Config, CHARM, CTS+ etc)

• Good experience with Sizing using tools like QuickSizer, Capacity planning.

• Good experience working on Virtualize environment.

• Knowledge of SAP cloud environment (AWS, MS Azure etc) along with certification will be added advantage.

# Nice to Have Skills: Experience on SAP S/4 HANA implementations a plus

# Role Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional teams from the business and regional support hubs (local IT team) and management team on projects, issues and enhancements

• Performance/resource management to include SAP monitoring, availability configuration, application tuning, prevention and application optimization activities

• Provide technical guidance for large-scale domestic and international projects including application installation and tuning, planning and installing patches in test and production environments

• Provide problem resolutions and be part of a 24x7 on-call SAP support team. (L2/L3 support)

• Strong experience in managing deliverables of vendors and strategic outsourcing partners.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Should have good people management skills.
