MES Functional Consultant - remote position - W2 hourly referral position - not a C2C

Job Title: MES Functional Consultant

Location: Neenah, WI (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months

Pay rate: $78-$82/Hr

Important Note From Hiring Manager:

• Will work some overlap hours (for meetings once in a while) in ASIAPAC, but will mainly work US hours (Fully remote).
• Any relevant MES experience is strongly preferred. They will be working in GE Plant Applications, SQL reporting services, ThingWorx (MES development platform), OSI PI Data Historian, Devops, SharePoint.
• Anyone that has worked in Consumer product Goods industries are strongly desired. Multilingual is a major plus, mandarin, Vietnamese, Thai.

Responsibilities:

Provide Global Manufacturing team with Full-time employee dedicated to Digital Manufacturing project. 12 to 18-month assignment with potential for extension
The incumbent will take work direction from the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team to support the
• MES Global Rollout Regional Lead (15 - 20 mills)
o Subject Matter Expert on Global MES Template
o Primary point of contact for region to GSC
o GSC rep for mill fit gap discussions o Provide training to regional project leaders (i.e. - regional deployment model)
o Support check and adjust of regional deployment model
o Regional rep for deployment partner / partners
o Support template enhancement process
• Lead one of the following parts of the program
o SSRS development / testing / deployment
§ Work with partner to keep effort on track
§ Provide testing of reports
§ Coordinate deployment of reports to Global SMOM sites o Value Creation Program deployment
• MES Global Template support
• OSI PI implementation support
• General support of Digital Manufacturing initiatives

The desired skillset needed for this role are as follows:
• Prior experience with Global MES rollouts including managing multiple sites simultaneously
• Prior experience in plant operations or engineering
• Multilingual a plus
• Knowledge of GE Plant Applications and OSI PI software preferred
• Basic understanding of SSRS reporting
• Able to work effectively in a remote work environment
• Ability to work independently and well as part of a team Other considerations
• Travel will be limited (Pending COVID 19 Impacts)
• Ability to provide office and service hours of ~75% alignment to assigned region time zones (APAC) with enough cross over with USA central time zone for proper communication with GSC team
• Location no restrictions
