Genesys Engineer with Speech Recognition

Software engineer, working in a lab environment, who integrates, develops, and evaluates new technologies and capabilities for a more powerful and conversational UX on our new voice response platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and integrate in-house and third-party components and capabilities into applications
- Design, build, and gather results from demos, A/B tests, and pilots
- Document solutions, and support delivery teams who implement them
- Lab maintenance, including OS patching, Genesys application updates, licensing, and access control
- Work with architects to learn about and to ensure solutions meet Amex standards
- Work closely with Product Owner on ideas, and options
Key Skills
- Experience with voice response platforms and applications—Genesys in particular
- Experience with speech recognition, and VXML
- Deep experience with general software engineering: APIs, Java, scripting languages, databases, connection protocols, etc.
- Experience with Nuance, and natural language understanding are big pluses
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies
