We are looking for Java Full stack Developer - Remote with one of our client.

Position: Java Full stack Developer

Location: Remote

Position Type: Contract

 

They are looking for candidates who possesses these skills

 

1. Candidate should be strong in Java fundamentals (Data Structure, Collections Framework, Multithreading, Exceptions) – Weightage 35%
2. Candidate should have working experience of Spring boot framework and Rest APIs, API security – Weightage 25%
3. Candidate should have working experience of Databases and queries (Preferably Postgres) any RDBMS. Experience with NoSql DB like Mongo is added advantage. – Weightage 20%
4. Experience in Micro services architecture,  Cloud services, Code repositories and Dev Ops –  Weightage 20%

Even from the shortlisted list, we are getting the rejections, due to the following obvious reasons -

• Hands-on coding skill being too slow or not had written quality code (boiler plate) for many years
• Database specific Operations & skill set is low due to excessive usage of Spring Boot framework
• Java 8 & above Skills being too low or just marginal
• Data Structures & Algorithm knowledge & implementation very minimal
• Microservices Hands-on skills being too generic not being specific to situations
