JOB DETAILS:
Title: DevSecOps\DevOps Architect
Client: Ness
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Remote
Key Skills : VMware ESXI, VMware Cloud Automation Center, AWS, VMWare Cloud, DevOps tooling etc.
Scope: 12+ years of experience in relevant field.
- Customer is required by regulators to demonstrate the ability to run all clearing and risk systems through internal datacenter ( "On-Prem") and to be able to switch all production functionality running through On-Prem within the predefined SLA.
- The newly developed clearing and risk systems ("Renaissance") takes advantage of scalability, ease of provision, and the reduced cost offered by cloud services (AWS) and the cloud offered Multi-Region as Disaster Recovery (DC) strategy. A senior-level technologist with many years of hands-on dev-ops experiences capable of devising the delivery plan and running the initial set of POCs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Thought leader, pioneering technology architect, specializing in Cloud Infrastructure Modernization, virtualization, data center setup, DR & BC Strategies, and DevOps
- Experience in on-premises data center operations, AWS hosted data center and operations management
- Certified AWS architect, with hands-on experience on VMware ESXI, VMware Cloud Automation Center and other virtualization technologies
- Experience in setting up VMware Cloud on AWS in lieu of datacenter. Few use cases like below
- Cloudian Object Storage on VMware as a replacement for AWS S3
- Pilot Kafka data replication between AWS and On-Prem
- Pilot SQL DB (CockroachDB) to run in AWS and On-Prem and the data replication between them
- Hands on experience with migrations tools
