Role:UI/ Front End Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Visa: USC/GC
Experience Required:8 + years
Description
· Implement solutions for investment strategy and risk team.
· Work collaboratively with other development team members to ensure design and solution are aligned with stated business objectives.
· Exercise a combination of project management and hands-on execution to ensure that projects are accomplished on deadline and with the highest quality technical standards.
· Seeks opportunities to improve efficiencies in supporting Adams Street’s technology best practices.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience writing client-side applications in modern JavaScript, ES6, Typescript
· Strong project experience in one or SPA frameworks such as React / Redux, Angular, Vue (we use React)
· Fluent in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
· Experience building responsive layouts in HTML and CSS.
· Experience using CSS preprocessors such as LESS and SASS, and JS build tools like Webpack
· Expertise building and consuming RESTful APIs
· Financial Services domain knowledge is preferred, Alternative Investments or Private Equity is a strong plus
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Working with quantitative analysts is a plus.
