.Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are expected across the area during the day on Thursday, as gusty winds and relative humidities in the teens to twenties will be in place.
Combined with dry to critically dry fuels across most of the region, high fire danger will exist throughout the day Thursday.
The best overlap of the driest conditions and gusty winds will exist south of US-90 and west of I-37.
