Primary Responsibilities
· Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality
· Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments
· Causing the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress
· Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
· Provide techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
· Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
· Helping establish empirical product planning for a complex environment
· Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
· Leading, training, and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption
· Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the organization
· Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
· Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
Education And Experience
· The Scrum Master must be independent and have the courage to do the right thing and work on tough problems
· The Scrum Master will also regard each member of their delivery POD to be capable, independent people.
· The Scrum Master must be open-minded and clear in their direction, as well as personally committed to achieving the goals of the team
· The position requires extensive business acumen, understanding of cross-platform marketing solutions, and awareness of how Marketers seek to create customer-centric omnichannel experiences for their customers
· 3-5 years experience working directly as a scrum master or agile coach (preferred)
· Agile Certification (Scrum Master / SAFe Scrum Master)
· Effective Communicator
· Experienced Problem Solver
· Experience working with JIRA- HIghly Preferred
· Marketing
· Bachelors or equivalent practical experience
